As with any gift the protagonist uses his gift to make himself some dough. He teams up with a detective to solve crimes by bringing back to life any deceased victims and asking them what happened! They then simply collect the reward and go on with their merry lives.
Each episode it narrated (by a narrator?!?) and has a somewhat Tim Burtonesque feel to it. If I had to compare it to something I would say it was a combination of 6 Feet Under and Sleepy Hollow - dark, yet funny in places while taking a rather interesting look at life and death.
I know. Sounds a bit macabre and I guess it is somewhat... but it's also very funny, if you like dark comedies!
